13 years old, he is as sound and honest as an owner can wish for
Two days after his youngest sister CAPICHERA
had foaled at SCHLOSSGUT ITLINGEN
her 7 years older brother CALRISSIAN
won his 22nd race at Compiegne and has now won more than €500.000 in his racing career. CALRISSIAN
was the 4th foal out of German Oaks winner CENTAINE
for his breeders Graf und Grafin Stauffenberg. Born in 2004 he's was sold the following year at the BBAG Yearling Sales to Larissa Tindari, who was acting on behalf of trainer Lars Kelp and owner Provence Hotel Holdings. Originally trained for the Swedish Derby - in which he finished 3rd - his sprinting talent was finally recognised by his trainer and he became Champion Sprinter in Scandinavia and won beside others the Taeby Open Sprint Championship, Gr.3.
Since being claimed for €12.019 in December 2013 CALRISSIAN
is trained by Frank Foresi for a group of owners around Alexander Mink in France and has won 10 races and more than €150.000 for them.
